Job summary

Taney County Regional Sewer District is seeking two Field Technicians to join our operations team. You will operate and maintain the District's lift stations, pumps, valves, and treatment systems to keep our communities' water clean.

You should have a high school diploma or GED and experience in construction, equipment operation, maintenance, plumbing or electrical work. A Missouri driver's license is required, with CDL and DNR licensing as attainable goals.

Qualifications

• Valid Missouri driver's license or ability to obtain CDL.
• Ability to obtain Missouri DNR Wastewater Operator licensing (Level D).
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain the District's lift station network.
• Perform maintenance on pumps, valves, controls, generators, and lines.
• Repair grinder pumps and perform system improvements.
• Conduct testing to ensure compliance with Missouri DNR permits.
• Respond to emergencies and on-call rotations.

TCRSD protects and improves the drinking water, lakes, and streams of Taney County by providing regional wastewater collection and treatment services. In this position, you will operate and maintain the District's lift stations and collection and treatment systems — the infrastructure that keeps our communities and waterways clean.

TCRSD protects and improves the drinking water, lakes, and streams of Taney County by providing regional wastewater collection and treatment services. In this position, you will operate and maintain the District's lift stations and collection and treatment systems — the infrastructure that keeps our communities and waterways clean.

What You'll Do

• Operate, monitor, and maintain the District's lift station network
• Perform scheduled maintenance on pumps, valves, controls, generators, and collection lines, station and treatment equipment
• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain grinder pumps
• Conduct testing to keep wastewater treatment facilities in compliance with Missouri Department of Natural Resources operating permits
• Operate trucks, heavy equipment, and maintain station grounds and easements
• Repair line breaks and perform system improvements Respond to emergency and on-call situations as part of a rotation

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED, plus experience in construction, equipment operation and maintenance, plumbing, or electrical work (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Valid Missouri driver's license
• Ability to obtain a Missouri Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker and air brake ratings
• Ability to obtain Missouri DNR Wastewater Operator licensing (minimum Level D)
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 60 pounds, working in confined spaces, and working outdoors in all weather
