Job summary

Apex Multifamily is seeking an experienced finish trades contractor to deliver turnkey turns and renovations for multifamily units in Austin, TX. You will work independently, completing drywall, texture, paint, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, and electrical fixtures to rent-ready standards.

Require 3+ years in multifamily turns or residential finish work with a complete tool set and a reliable vehicle. This 1099 contract role entails meeting tight schedules and maintaining quality on site.

Qualifications

• 3+ years multifamily turns, renovation, or residential finish work.
• Valid license, commercial auto insurance, and general liability.
• W-9 and workers' comp or valid state exemption on file.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and work overhead or on ladders.

Responsibilities

• Drywall and finish work: patches, full sheet replacement, texture, and seamless edges.
• Texture matching to match existing finishes.
• Paint, caulk, patch, and prime as needed.
• Scribe fillers, panels, trim, and toe kicks to fit irregular walls.
• Hang cabinets and install trims with precise alignment.
• Install plumbing fixtures and connect hookups; ensure no leaks.
• Install electrical fixtures and test devices to code standards.
• Mask, protect, and leave work area clean on completion.
