Job summary

MINERALS TECHNOLOGIES INC. (MINTEQ) seeks a Technical Support Specialist to deliver technical service for MONOLITHIC refractory products and related equipment across North America. You will work with Sales, Service, and Application Technology teams at steel and industrial customers, providing expert support for integration of products and systems.

Travel across the USA and Canada is required. A degree in engineering or technical background is preferred, with 5+ years of industry experience being

Qualifications

Associate or bachelor’s degree desired (engineering degree / technical background preferred).
5 or more years of relevant industry experience desired, but not mandatory.
Knowledge of refractory/steelmaking domains is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide technical product support across MINTEQ monolithic products.
Understand application systems and best practices for materials and delivery systems.
Assist in sales process as a technical expert when required.
Monitor and report product/equipment trials with detail and timeliness.
Coordinate with Customer/Sales/Service/R&D for product support needs.
