Minerals Technologies Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Specialist for MINTEQ services in the Southeast USA. You will support technical product integration, participate with local sales/service teams, and liaise between customers, sales, engineering, and R&D to maximize product value.

Qualifications

• assoc. or bachelor’s degree in engineering/technical field preferred.
• ability to read mechanical drawings.
• knowledge of refractory markets (EAF/BOF/ladles/caster) preferred.
• willingness and ability to travel across USA and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical product support across MINTEQ monolithic products.
• Understand and communicate application systems and equipment delivery for market segments.
• Assist in the sales process as a technical expert when required.
• Monitor and report product/equipment trials in detail for short/extended periods.
• Coordinate best practice sharing within MINTEQ team.
• Discuss with customers and MINTEQ teams about laser systems and SCANTROL software.
