Job summary

AK Technologies is seeking a full-time, in-person installer based in Austin, TX to install and service access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems on commercial sites across Central Texas.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of hands-on low-voltage experience, are comfortable on ladders, and hold a Texas driver’s license. Certifications (Lenel, Brivo, Gallagher, Axis) are a plus; training is provided.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of hands-on low-voltage or security field experience.
• Comfortable on ladders and lifts, in mechanical rooms and ceilings.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• Manufacturer certifications (Lenel, Brivo, Gallagher, Axis) a plus. We train.

Responsibilities

• Install access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems on commercial sites.
• Terminate, label, and test devices and panels to AK standards.
• Read schematics and device schedules; keep as-builts current.
• Work construction sites alongside a lead tech, with direct client contact.

What you'll do:

• Install access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems on commercial sites
• Terminate, label, and test devices and panels to AK standards
