Job summary

Southern Star is hiring technicians in Magnolia, AR. Training starts at $17.00 per hour with a 0.50 raise after 60 days. A guaranteed $20.00 per hour is offered through the first 9 months, then base rates may increase if needed to reach that goal.

First-year earnings target is $50,000–$60,000, with experienced techs earning $60,000–$85,000+. Benefits include paid training, 401K, PTO, life insurance, a company vehicle after training, a monthly device stipend, and exclusive LifeMart discounts.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge for field installation and service.
• Ability to scale ladders up to 38 ft and navigate crawl spaces.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to upsell products and services while installing DISH systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and service DISH systems and related devices.
• Upsell products and services to customers during visits.
• Travel up to 20% of the time; lodging and per diem covered.
• Maintain safety and quality standards during installations.
