Job summary

Tasman Inc is seeking an entry-level Field Technician / Spotter in Hobbs, NM to support field operations and operate heavy equipment on active job sites.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of heavy equipment experience, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds. We offer group health coverage, a 401(k) match up to 4%, PTO and holidays, tuition reimbursement, and room to grow into a full-time role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Strong understanding of equipment safety and site protocols.

Responsibilities

• Inspect heavy equipment before and after use for safe operation.
• Operate equipment such as front loaders, trackhoes, mini excavators, and cranes.
• Load, unload, and move materials around job sites.
• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs.
• Report equipment issues or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Assist field crews with spotting and general site support.
