Qualifications

• Experience with basic carpentry, plumbing, drywall work, and other miscellaneous construction tasks.
• Must be able to communicate professionally with foremen and subcontractors.

• Repair and clean any pending details needed before final walkthrough.

Job description

The position of Field Technician (Detallista) was established for the purpose of assisting the Foreman on construction sites with repairing and general miscellaneous construction duties in order to ensure the houses are completed up to company standards. In addition, the Foreman Assistant will help with warranty repairs and quality assurance as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Foreman Assistant (Detallista):

• Maintain & clean model homes, specs and job sites.
• Perform all duties assigned by Foreman or Production Manager.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds and be able to climb a ladder.
• Assist in basic carpentry, plumbing, dry wall work, landscaping, painting, electrical and other miscellaneous construction and assembling duties for a timely completion of house.
• Assist with scheduling subcontractors and enforcing good quality work.
• Repair, fix, and clean any pending details needed before final walkthrough and quality control inspection by providing good craftsmanship.
• Inform Foreman and/or Field Operation Manager of any issues or anomalies during the construction process.
• Assists with any warranty repairs as indicated by Warranty Specialist as needed.
• Follow safety standards.
• Must be able to work in a high-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Must be able to communicate professionally with foremen and subcontractors.
• Capable of learning new techniques, tools, equipment and material in order to perform tasks.
• Ensure our jobs sites are secured and locked.
