Qualifications

• Proficiency in equipment maintenance and overall maintenance tasks.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and maintenance & repair procedures.
• Practical expertise in troubleshooting and diagnosing operational issues.
• Strong understanding of safety guidelines and best practices in mechanical work.
• Ability to work independently in a field setting and communicate effectively within a team.
• Prior experience with compression units, machinery, or equipment maintenance preferred.
• Technical certifications or training in mechanical or industrial fields are a plus.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct equipment maintenance on gas compression units.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose operational issues to minimize downtime.

Job description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Tech/Gas Compressor Mechanic, located in Pampa, TX. The role involves conducting equipment maintenance, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on gas compression units. Responsibilities will also include executing repairs, maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance, and adhering to safety regulations and protocols. The position requires regular interaction with other team members, operators, and project stakeholders to ensure quality and efficiency. Must be available for Call Outs and On-Call rotation.

All employees shall be in compliance with the Precision Compression Health Safety and Environmental Policy and local, statutory and/or regulatory requirements at all times.
