Job summary

Tier 1 MRO LLC is seeking a Systems Technician to perform installations, maintenance, and support for clients across North America. The role demands strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, high reliability, and superb customer service while traveling extensively.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot equipment, read schematics, operate forklift equipment, and maintain organized tool kits. A high school diploma and 1–3 years of relevant experience are required, with relocation to client sites

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
1–3 years of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience in a similar environment or equivalent college/vocational education.
Travel up to 80% as customers are located throughout North America.
Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift, and work at heights 45+ feet.
Candidate must be old enough to rent a vehicle in the U.S.
Prior experience with VLMs, automation, ASRS systems, or carousels preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform installations, repairs, and ongoing maintenance of equipment and machines in a timely and professional manner.
Analyze equipment and machine breakdowns and recommend corrective actions.
Provide on-site or phone end-user support.
Utilize training programs to increase knowledge and proficiency.
Maintain tool inventory and a clean, organized toolkit.
Keep work areas clean and free of clutter; ensure tools are in good working order.
Prepare documentation for each installation or service call.
