Job summary

Viasat is seeking an experienced Edge Solutions Engineer and Technical Account Manager to craft and implement edge networking solutions for command and control systems. You will diagnose, test, and deploy complex demonstrations for US DoD customers and commercial applications, collaborating with program managers, engineers, and support teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience with Cisco Switches/Routers/ASA Firewalls.
• 3+ years' experience in electronics integration, resolution and diagnostics.
• Proven experience in network design including Layer 2/3 design.
• Prior virtualization experience (ESXi, KVM).
• Experience with Linux-based systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex networking and protocol issues.
• CCNA or comparable certification.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Assist and lead demonstrations for current and future customers.
• Diagnose and resolve sophisticated network issues.
• Provide critical architecture support and deploy edge solutions for DoD and commercial programs.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.
