Job summary

MacAllister Machinery Co., Inc. in Novi, MI is seeking a Field Swing EPG technician to service customers with rental power generation units.

You will work in the field at customer locations, performing routine maintenance and minor repairs to keep equipment running. The role requires 2-5 years of diesel engine maintenance and 1-3 years of electrical diagnosis and repair experience, plus a valid CDL A and DOT medical card or the ability to obtain them.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of Diesel Engine maintenance experience.
• 1-3 years of Electrical Diagnosis and repair experience preferred.
• CDL A.
• DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Lubricating, oiling, and maintaining equipment in the field at customer locations and may make minor repairs.
• Complete a Field Risk Assessment on every work required.
• Can perform Service Letter Updates (Caterpillar sourced) limited to less than one day and not needing a crane and or experienced computer diagnostics.
• Can perform Load Banking up to 1250 KW.
• Support EPG Field Technicians on larger jobs.
• Ensure 100% safety compliance. Field Swing EPG will not be utilized in any Emergency Call rotation.
