Job summary

Duininck is seeking a Surveyor to join our Texas/Oklahoma infrastructure team. You''ll perform field surveys, layout, and staking using GPS and survey instruments, supporting roads, airports, and civil projects.

This year-round, full-time role requires travel across North and West Texas, overtime, safety focus, and a strong benefits package including 401K, health plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of heavy civil construction experience in a full-time Surveyor role.
• Proficient use of Topcon, Trimble and/or Leica technology.
• Ability to read and interpret topographic surveys and project drawings.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up GPS base station where needed and check equipment precision.
• Directly complete field surveys, construction staking, layouts, etc.
• Use surveying instruments and tools to layout line and grade for structures and earth work using company survey standards.
• Perform quality control checks, ensuring proper compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Perform survey and necessary calculations and provide documentation for pay applications.
• Learn job-related material through oral instruction and observation.
• Walk, bend, kneel, lift, stretch and sit; work outside in all weather conditions.
• Travel to job sites across North and West Texas; may include frequent overnight stays.
