Job summary

Duininck Texas is hiring a Surveyor to perform field surveys, construction staking, and layouts using GPS and survey instruments. You will check equipment, ensure alignment with drawings, and provide documentation for pay apps. Travel to job sites across North Texas may be required, including overnight stays.

We seek 3-5 years of heavy civil construction experience, proficiency with Topcon, Trimble and Leica systems, and a valid driver's license. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of heavy civil construction experience in a full-time Surveyor role.
• Proficient use of Topcon, Trimble and/or Leica technology.
• Ability to read and interpret topographic surveys and project drawings.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Set up GPS base station and verify equipment precision.
• Directly complete field surveys, construction staking, layouts, etc.
• Layout line and grade for structures and earthwork using company standards.
• Perform quality control checks against drawings and specifications.
• Prepare survey calculations and documentation for pay applications.
• Travel to job sites across North and West Texas; may include overnight stays.
