Job summary

Apex Engineering Group is looking for a Surveyor I to conduct various surveys including topographic, boundary, and construction surveys primarily around Minot, ND. The successful candidate will collaborate with a Survey Crew Chief and be capable of performing field tasks independently on simpler projects.

Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in surveying methods, a relevant educational background, and the ability to learn and operate various CADD applications, alongside meeting the physical requirements necessary for outdoor work.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• One or more years of experience performing topographic and highway/roadway construction staking.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform land surveying services including plane and/or geodetic surveys.
• Prepare accurate field notes, drawings, and records changes in conditions.
• Assist with construction observation duties on civil engineering projects.
