Job summary

Mendrop Engineering Resources, LLC is seeking a Survey Field Crew Member to join our field team in Mississippi. This outdoor role involves travel to project sites within a four-hour radius and occasional overnight stays covered by the company.

You’ll collect accurate survey data and operate a variety of field equipment. The position requires a two-year surveying degree or equivalent field experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying weather

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain.
• Travel within a four-hour radius, occasional overnight stays covered by the company.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform field tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform field data collection for boundary, topographic, construction staking, and control surveys.
• Operate and maintain surveying equipment including GPS units, total stations, and data collectors.
• Support drone (UAS) operations, including launch, recovery, and safety checks.
• Drive company vehicles to sites and maintain equipment.
