Job summary

Cinterra is seeking a Survey Helper to support the Party Chief by performing precise measurements and layout for unit installation. You will use surveying instruments to determine elevations, locations, and dimensions of land features, while ensuring accuracy and quality in accordance with plans and specs.

Ideal candidates have industrial construction layout experience, solid math skills, and the ability to read plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial construction with layout or survey responsibilities.
• Basic math knowledge: algebra, geometry, trigonometry; able to verify calculations.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to complete pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Hold level or stadia rod at points to assist elevations and layout of stakes.
• Cut and clear obstructions from the survey line.
• Measure distances with tape, chain, or surveyor's tools.
• Mark measuring points with stakes, paint, or markers.
• Record survey results including shape, location, elevation, and dimensions.
• Adjust surveying instruments to maintain accuracy.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards and near misses.
