Job summary

Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is seeking a Field Survey Technician to support field crews across boundary, topographic, and construction surveys. You will operate survey equipment, collect geospatial data, and help maintain organized field notes under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel or stay out of town as needed. Benefits include health and retirement plans and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of land surveying practices and field operations.
• Able to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company MVR standards.

Responsibilities

• Support field crew to collect data for boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.
• Assist in field surveys under supervision of Crew Chief; communicate progress and problems.
• Operate survey equipment and software to collect geospatial data and perform computations.
• Maintain neat field notes with accurate measurements and organize equipment and supplies.
