Verdantas in Ohio seeks motivated Survey Technicians to start or grow a surveying career in a collaborative, safety-focused environment across multiple Ohio locations. You will work with a field crew on surveys, coordinate data collection, and assist with report preparation.

The role emphasizes operating total stations, GPS/GNSS units, and levels, with travel to project sites and adherence to safety standards; high school diploma required, further education preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in surveying, civil engineering technology, geomatics, or related field preferred.
• Zero to three years of surveying, construction, engineering, or related field experience.
• Familiarity with total stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, and levels is beneficial.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project locations.

Mansioni

• Assist with field surveys involving land features, boundaries, elevations, and topography.
• Operate survey equipment including total stations, GPS/GNSS units, and levels.
• Support setup, calibration, and maintenance of survey instruments.
• Collect, record, and organize survey data accurately.
• Prepare survey reports, maps, drawings, and supporting documentation.
• Follow surveying standards and project specifications.
• Communicate field observations to the Lead Surveyor.
• Follow all safety requirements.
• Travel to project locations as required.
