Responsibilities

• Deliver the OWN Experience by focusing on Clients, OWNers, Safety, Quality, and Financial Health.
• Conduct collection, processing, and verification of survey data.
• Operate and maintain surveying instruments (GPS, total stations, data collectors).
• Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot survey equipment in field operations.
• Collect topographic, boundary, and construction layout data per project requirements.
• Perform field calculations, level loops, and coordinate checks for accuracy.
• Record clear field notes and maintain accurate documentation of observations.
• Import and organize raw field data for processing and drafting by office staff.
• Assist in preparing survey drawings, plats, and exhibits under supervision.
• Support construction staking by interpreting plans and marking locations.
• Maintain communication with Team Leaders, Surveyors, and Engineering staff.
• Adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and job-site requirements.
• Maintain equipment inventory, cleanliness, and field readiness.
• Assist with data quality control and ensure adherence to standards.
