Louisiana Bridge Builders is seeking a Survey Helper based in Lake Charles, LA. This full-time field role supports survey crews in measuring land boundaries and construction layouts, assisting with equipment, stakes, and safety protocols.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and 1+ year survey experience, plus a valid driver's license; proficiency with MS Office is preferred. Relocation assistance may be provided for approved relocations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of Civil Construction survey experience.
• Valid and current driver’s license.
• Ability to operate standard survey equipment and perform measurements.

Responsibilities

• Assist surveyors with field tasks to conduct land or building surveys.
• Transport levels, total stations, GPS units, and related equipment.
• Set up and hold stadia rods, tapes, and prisms as directed.
• Mark distances and place stakes to delineate boundaries.
• Clear survey areas of vegetation or debris for accuracy.
• Maintain and care for surveying equipment.
• Follow safety protocols under supervision of licensed surveyors.
• Collaborate with survey teams and other crew members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
