Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Survey Technician or four years with survey corps and duties operating surveying instruments.
• Two years of experience with an associate's degree in surveying or related field also qualifies.

Responsibilities

• Field Measurements: supervise and record exact measurements for surveying and design projects.
• Topography Sketches: prepare detailed drawings showing topo features.
• Engineering Data: secure information to support design plans and project development.
• Site Marking: oversee marking and staking of construction locations.
• Data Reduction: reduce field notes and perform trig/ algebra calculations.
• Project Support: review workload, assist coordination, research land ownership, and document tasks.
