Matrix Service Company in Clarksville, AR is seeking a Surveyor Rodman to assist with surveying and measuring points, elevations, lines, areas and contours for construction. You will set up equipment, mark survey points on the ground and maintain tools and safety protocols on site.

The role supports the Chief surveyor and Instrument person, with duties including carrying survey rods, placing markers, operating total stations and GPS units, and recording measurements as directed.

Formación

• Must have experience working in maintenance/turnaround/new construction and knowledge of basic hand tools.
• A general knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Experience working on Surveying crews preferred.
• Must pass Craft Helper proficiency testing at or above 70%.
• Must complete Matrix Service Safety training and Client / Site specific training.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active drug testing program and pass background check.

Responsabilidades

• Carry and position survey rods, stakes, and other equipment to assist with measurements.
• Place markers, stakes, or flags to identify boundaries, elevations, or construction layouts.
• Help the survey crew by clearing brushes or debris to create clear lines of sight.
• Assist in the setup and operation of survey equipment, such as total stations and GPS units.
• Record measurements and observations as directed by the Party Chief or Instrument Person.
• Maintain and organize tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols to promote a safe working environment for the team.
