The successful candidate will perform boundary, control, topographic, construction layout, GPS/GIS surveys and will handle field computations, notes, and records. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as Survey Crew Chief or degree in Mapping, Surveying, GIS or a Geospatial Field.
• Proficient with GPS, Robotic Total Station, and data collectors.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Willing to travel for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Completes field assignments accurately while ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment.
• Performs boundary, control, topographic, construction layout and staking, environmental mapping, GPS/GIS surveys, and land surveying.
• Completes field work by performing administrative functions including computations, reduction of field notes, maintaining records, and client contact.
