Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Field Surveyor to support roadway and bridge construction projects in the United States. You will perform topographic and construction surveys, operate GNSS and total stations, and help with stakeouts and QA/QC to ensure alignment accuracy.

You will work with a team in outdoor field conditions, supervising junior crew members and coordinating with project engineers. ACCIONA offers relocation assistance and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of field surveying experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of geodetic control and coordinate systems.
• Experience with roadway/bridge layouts and cross-sections is advantageous.
• Ability to supervise 2–4 junior crew members and coordinate with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys for roadways and bridges.
• Operate GNSS receivers, total stations, levels, and drones for field data collection.
• Perform construction layout and stakeout for earthwork and structures.
• Monitor progress and verify compliance with plans and right‑of‑way limits.
• Perform QA/QC checks on survey data and maintain control networks.
• Process data with Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
• Prepare as-built surveys, volume calculations, and deliverables (CSV, DXF, LandXML).
• Supervise and train junior survey crew members (2–4).
• Support machine guidance operations for dozers, excavators, and graders.
• Maintain field notes, logs, and reports for engineers and stakeholders.
