Job summary

ETM Inc. in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Survey Crew Chief to lead field crews, operate surveying instruments, and ensure accurate data collection.

You will set up total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors, perform measurements, and document field notes with attention to safety and quality. You will work with senior surveyors, follow procedures, transport equipment, and help integrate field data into surveys.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years survey experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors.
• Perform basic measurements, readings, and calculations during field surveys.
• Assist in the collection of survey data, including field notes and observations.
• Support documentation and organization of survey data.
• Work collaboratively with crew members and under supervision of senior surveyors.
• Follow safety protocols and report issues to supervisors.
