Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Survey Instrument Operator in Atlanta, GA. The role supports field operations, data collection, and instrument management to ensure accurate elevations, angles, and distances. Collaboration with the Party Chief and client coordination are essential.

Candidate should have 1+ years using data collectors, total stations, and GPS, plus a valid driver's license. Willingness to travel and pass drug and background checks are required.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years using data collectors, robotic and non-robotic total stations and GPS equipment.
• 1+ years in land surveying.
• Experience with GDOT preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Willingness to train if experience is lacking.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Willing and able to travel as required.

Mansioni

• Collect data using company standards for descriptions and line coding.
• Assist Party Chief in field operations.
• Operate and maintain surveying instruments (transits, level, theodolite, EDM).
• Coordinate with office staff and clients.
• Adhere to survey regulations and Accura procedures.
• Monitor daily timesheets, reports and vehicle inspections.
• Perform calculations to establish reference points.
• Interpret maps, plats, blueprints, and specifications.
• Maintain and adjust instruments to ensure accuracy.
• Oversee activities in the absence of the Survey Party Chief.
• Perform related duties as required.
