Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Survey Instrument Operator to support field surveying activities. You will collect data, assist the Party Chief, and operate surveying instruments to verify elevations, angles, and distances in the Atlanta, GA area.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ years of experience with data collectors, total stations, and GPS equipment, and a valid driver’s license. Travel may be required, and pre-employment screenings apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years data collectors, total stations, GPS equipment experience.
• 1+ years land surveying experience.
• GDOT experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Willing to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Collect data using company standards for descriptions and line coding.
• Assist Party Chief in field operations.
• Operate and maintain surveying instruments to measure elevations, angles, and distances.
• Coordinate with office staff and clients as required.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal survey regulations and Accura procedures.
• Monitor daily timesheets, reports and vehicle inspections.
