Job summary

England-Thims & Miller, Inc. is seeking a survey field crew member to assist the Crew Chief in collecting data for accurate surveys. You will cut brush, load equipment, and help determine elevations and stakes on survey sites.

You will operate total stations, GPS data collectors, and levels under supervision, supporting topographic, boundary, and construction layout surveys while maintaining safety and teamwork across the field crew.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of surveying principles and equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physical stamina to carry and operate equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist Crew Chief with collection of survey data and layouts.
• Cutting and clearing brush from survey lines and load/unload equipment.
• Set up instruments and determine elevations, stakes, and marks.
• Operate survey tools including Total Station, GPS Data Collector.
• Maintain equipment and report issues; adhere to safety procedures.
