Job summary

Stantec is seeking a survey support professional to work under a Professional Land Surveyor, assisting outdoor surveying projects across diverse locations, including boundary and right-of-way calculations, data collection, and drafting mapping deliverables.

You’ll collaborate with project teams, licensed surveyors, engineers, and technical staff, perform site control, staking, and field data collection, and help maintain and calibrate survey equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s degree in surveying, engineering, or related field; no prior experience required, or 3 years paraprofessional field/office experience.
• Basic knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Survey calculations, CAD drafting, map preparation, and record drawings research.
• Field surveying to establish site control and data collection; construction staking.
