McClure Engineering Company seeks a Survey Crew Chief to support projects in Fort Dodge and the surrounding area. The role maintains constant contact with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure the scope of field work is clearly defined and obtained.

Individuals with a construction, technical or related background may be trained alongside experienced Crew Chiefs. Strong knowledge of field staking procedures and civil drawings is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years related experience preferred, which can include a technical profession or construction related background.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contact with Project Managers and Engineers to define the field work scope.
• Assist and train new Crew Members alongside experienced Crew Chiefs.
• Perform land surveying field staking and support earthwork and site utilities.
• Read and interpret civil drawings and apply surveying standards.
