Qualifications

• 5+ years of survey experience required.
• Must be able to supervise crew members and coordinate tasks.
• Proficiency with surveying instruments and reading engineering plans.

Responsibilities

• Complete site control, boundary reconnaissance, construction staking and topographic surveys.
• Perform 3D scanning, and other surveying services in support of engineering work.
• Review maps, field notes, and exhibits; perform staking calculations for improvements and utilities.
• Support surveying and mapping activities for boundary surveys, topographic mapping and construction staking projects.
• Supervise crew members to complete daily survey assignments correctly and efficiently.
• Oversee staff including hiring, promotions, performance reviews, and training.
• Coordinate requirements of Resident Engineer and Construction Supervisor.
• Work with Project Surveyors and communicate effectively in challenging situations.
