Job summary

RTI International is seeking part-time Survey Administrators for school-based data collection across multiple sites. You will travel to classrooms, interact with students and staff, and manage survey logistics. Training is required and you will handle project equipment with care.

The role supports the National Youth Risk Behavior Study (YRBS) and involves standing and walking, with occasional overnight travel. A valid driver’s license and own vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken and written English; strong communication skills.
• Must have a valid US driver’s license and access to a personal car.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations and work in various weather.
• Ability to complete training and maintain confidentiality.
• Flexible for early morning survey hours and field work.

Responsibilities

• Travel frequently to selected locations to administer surveys.
• Interact with participants and school staff to collect data.
• Coordinate scheduling and make-up sessions with schools.
• Provide timely time and expense reports and document activities.
• Safeguard equipment and handle data per SOPs.
