Ethos Risk Services seeks an Experienced Field Investigator to conduct surveillance and identify potential fraudulent insurance claims. You will perform stationary and mobile surveillance, obtain video and photographic evidence, and prepare thorough reports for clients.

The role involves early starts, long hours in-vehicle, and travel within a 2-hour radius of residence, with occasional overnight stays covered by the company.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in covert surveillance techniques and capturing high-quality video footage.
• Ability to prepare thorough, well-organized investigative reports.
• Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
• Reliable personal vehicle (preferably with tinted windows).
• Equipment: handheld camcorder with zoom and covert camera; stabilization gear encouraged.
• Reliable laptop, cellphone, and internet service for communication and admin tasks.
• Active Private Investigator license or willingness to obtain one (where required).

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surveillance assignments by reviewing preliminary reports and case information.
• Perform covert surveillance from vehicle to capture video evidence.
• Draft detailed, court-ready investigative reports summarizing activity and findings.
• Finalize case files by submitting reports and uploading video footage.
• Work closely with field supervisor and operations teams for guidance.
