Job summary

Bigge Crane and Rigging in Fort Lauderdale seeks a Field Helper to support field operations with welding and technicians. You will assist in tool delivery, equipment setup, and routine maintenance while maintaining safety and organization on job sites.

Ideal candidates are physically capable, able to read manuals, and eager to learn. Willingness to travel and work overtime is required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with assembly, dismantling, and transporting hoists.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and diagrams.
• Ability to climb and work at heights, with harness.
• Strong organization and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Welding experience preferred; willingness to learn new tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations by delivering tools, equipment and supplies.
• Assist in setup, movement, and adjustment of equipment under supervision.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and organization of equipment and work areas.
• Manage inventory and ensure materials/tools are in good condition.
• Operate beveling machines, grinders, torches, and welding machines safely.
