Job summary

Office Pride of North Alabama in Huntsville is seeking a Field Support Cleaner to train and support our cleaning staff across multiple accounts. This hands-on role ensures service standards are met and staff are prepared to perform quality work.

Responsibilities include hands-on training, coordinating coverage for open shifts, conducting quality inspections, and leading team members on safety and policy adherence. Travel between accounts may be required, and a reliable vehicle is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience required.
• Experience training, coaching, or supervising employees preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules.
• Own transportation and willingness to travel between accounts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical cleaning duties when needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on training for new cleaners at assigned accounts.
• Teach company policies, procedures, safety practices, and service expectations.
• Provide ongoing coaching and refresher training as needed.
• Help employees build confidence, efficiency, and complete quality work.
• Monitor employee progress and provide feedback for improvement.
• Provide coverage for open shifts, call-offs, vacations, and staffing needs.
• Support multiple accounts as needed.
• Respond quickly to operational needs and customer concerns.
• Conduct routine quality inspections and spot checks.
• Ensure cleaning tasks are completed according to company standards.
• Identify areas for improvement and provide corrective coaching.
• Monitor proper use and care of equipment and supplies.
• Engage with employees by providing encouragement, direction, and support.
• Assist employees with timekeeping questions and compliance.
• Report performance concerns, policy violations, or disciplinary issues to management.
• Review communication logs and relay important information to staff.
