Elevance Health is seeking a Field Support Analyst II in Indianapolis, IN to troubleshoot and repair software and hardware issues of moderate complexity. The role supports onsite hardware deployment and remote assistance for IT teams.

The position requires an AA/AS in IT or related field with 3 years of PC/OS experience; Dell hardware certs and vendor certifications are preferred. It is a hybrid role with in-office three days per week under policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Installs computer hardware and supports software deployment for moderate complexity.
• Identifies software licensing needs and installs approved software.
• Recommends standard software to meet customer needs and assists deployment teams.
• Provides remote-hands support for IT groups or outsourcers.
• Troubleshoots and repairs software issues including reinstallation and registry/file fixes.
• Participates in single and large-scale moves and Tech Refresh installations.
• Engages in other projects requiring technical resources and attends project meetings.

Job description

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Field Support Analyst II is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing computer software installation and hardware problems of moderate complexity.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Installs a wide variety of computer hardware equipment.
• Identifies when software licensing needs to be obtained and installs software of moderate complexity.
• Recommends standard software that will meet customer needs and assists the Software Deployment team in troubleshooting instances when packages cannot be deployed as part of large scale software deliveries.
• Provides remote-hands work for other IT groups or outsourcers.
• Troubleshoots and repairs computer software problems of moderate complexity which may involve a removal/reinstall of the application or system registry/file changes to fix the incident using more advanced diagnostic tools.
• Participates in single and large scale moves.
• Performs Tech Refresh installations and end user acceptance testing.
• Participates in other lights-on projects where technical resources are needed.
• May attend regularly scheduled project meetings and provide technical and logistical advice to a project team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires an AA/AS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 3 years experience with PC and operating systems, Dell hardware certification; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• This position is part of our Wellpoint Federal division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities And Experiences

Microsoft A+, MCP and Network+ certifications strongly preferred.
