Job summary

ACMS seeks a Part-time Field Supervisor for School Crossing Guards in Mill Valley, CA. The role includes overseeing crossing guard programs in Central Marin County, supervising field staff, and ensuring safety and policy compliance.

Ideal candidates reside nearby (San Rafael, Mill Valley, Fairfax) and can support assignments before/after school. Responsibilities include training, field instruction, safety reviews, and coordinating schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated and dependable.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Own reliable transportation with a clean driving record.
• Able to lift/transport items up to 20 pounds.
• Must be 18+ and available before/after school.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Area Supervisor and follows Employee Handbook and Area Supervisor manual.
• Conduct orientation, training, field instruction, and safety reviews for guards.
• Regular visits to assigned crossing locations and observe guard duties.
• Complete administrative paperwork promptly.
• Monitor day-to-day activities, coordinate schedules and staffing by area.
