Job summary

Archrock is seeking a Field Supervisor in Texas to lead field service technicians, coordinate start-ups, installations, repairs and maintenance of compressor packages, and ensure safe, efficient field operations. The role partners with Fleet and Supply Chain to manage loading, unloading, and logistics while safeguarding equipment and regulatory compliance.

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as engineering) or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience in the natural gas compression industry.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to field personnel to ensure they are working effectively and safely.
• Coordinate trucking for loading and unloading of units with Fleet and Supply Chain.
• Manage and resolve field issues, including parts, logistics, repair and maintenance.
• Track service records to identify trends with compressor rental packages.
• Inspect units and ensure documentation for inspections and paperwork.
• Assist with start-ups, installation and return of compressor packages.
• Report potential problems on units to appropriate departments.
