Job summary

Control Solutions Group, Inc., an EMCOR Group company, seeks a Field Supervisor, Building Management Systems (BMS) to join our New York City team. The role focuses on coordinating HVAC controls projects, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring timely commissioning and handover.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics and 5–7 years of field experience in HVAC controls, including DDC systems. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EE, ME, CE, Math or Physics is required.
• Strong communication, organizational and documentation skills are essential.
• Experience with HVAC controls, DDC systems commissioning and software integration is expected.
• Proficiency with MS Office, WebCTRL, AutoCAD and multiple operating systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage multiple automation installation projects.
• Consult with Project Manager on scope changes, priorities and deadlines.
• Review contract documents and RFIs to define approved scope.
• Supervise subcontractors and track additional work.
• Perform point-to-point check-out, commissioning, and maintenance on BMS.
• Troubleshoot and repair building automation system components.
• Maintain project documentation and status reports.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.
