Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four years of professional social services work.
• Graduate coursework may substitute for experience (36 graduate hours) up to two years.
• Four years of professional social services work with the State of Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and supervision to the Student Development Team at TRCS.
• Develops procedures and strategies to meet departmental goals and comply with laws.
• Oversees development and training of TRCS Conduct procedures.
• Audits electronic case files to ensure compliance.
• Resolves complaints and disputes to optimize program resources and outcomes.
• Fosters cooperative relationships with partnering agencies and internal teams.
• Identifies training needs through review of staff issues.
• Develops corrective action plans for staff performance.
• Assigns duties and schedules staff activities.
• Mentors staff on culture, policies, workflow, and documentation.
• Conducts employee evaluations to assess performance and compliance.
• Discusses job plans and procedures to promote understanding of outcomes.
• Approves staff leave, travel, and timesheets in the system.

Education

Bachelor's degree in social services or related field
