Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc is seeking a Field Supervisor to uphold Ownership, Trust, and Teamwork while driving safety initiatives for employees and customers in field operations. You will lead a 30+ person team, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with clients on field projects.

Responsibilities include scheduling, coaching, and field inspections to protect assets and maintain high performance. The role requires outdoor work in varied weather and a strong focus on safety and development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4-year degree in business-related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of supervisor experience.
• Strong relational skills.

Responsibilities

• Front line safety – Protect employees and customers through safe practices.
• Ensure safety, quality, training, employee engagement and retention are prime focus.
• Perform field and vehicle inspections, attend pre-bid meetings, meet with clients and coach the team.
• Create daily schedules, monitor payroll, timekeeping, benefits and training requirements.
• Become an expert in work zone setup/design and professional flagging.
• Lead a team of 30+.

Job Description

The Field Supervisor will support our EHS initiatives thatprotect employees, customers,and assetsallowing all our team members to return home safely every day. What you will do:

• Front line safety – Protection of employees and customers against losses, injuries, and accidents through enforcement of safe work practices
• Ensure that safety, quality, training, employee engagement and retention are a prime focus of the business
• Perform field and vehicle inspections, attend pre-bid meetings, meet with clients and work in the field coaching and developing your team.
• Assist in creating daily schedules, monitor employee issues including payroll, timekeeping, benefits, time off requests, customer issues and training requirements
• Become an expert in the work zone setup/design and professional flagging.
• Lead a team of 30+

Qualifications

What you bring to us:

• High School Diploma or awarded GED - a 4-year degree in business-related field a plus
• 2 - 4 years of supervisor experience and experience building large teams
• Strong relational skills

Other things to know:

• Majority of time will be spent driving and in the field (90%)
• You will work in outside conditions that include inclement weather, not limited to heat, cold, humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt
• Valid Driver’s License void of suspension or revocation
• Typical workweek 40+ hours

Compensation Range: $60k - $65k per year + bonus potential
