Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Field Superintendent to lead Facilities construction, basebuild, renovation, and tool installations at Fab 6.

You will oversee field execution, safety, quality, and schedule while coordinating with Facilities Operations, Engineering, and contractors in a complex semiconductor environment. The role emphasizes approved project documents, adherence to procedures, and use of AI-enabled tools for planning, reporting, and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum five years of industrial construction experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating multiple contractors and trades in congested facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily field leadership across active Facilities construction, maintenance, tool-install, operational, and contractor workfronts in a semiconductor environment.
• Coordinate labor utilization, trade sequencing, contractor staffing, material and tool staging, access, logistics, and work-area organization.
• Conduct daily job reviews and maintain accurate field reports covering progress, labor, materials, constraints, quality concerns, and schedule risks.
• Validate workfront readiness with scope, design, materials, permits, qualified labor and supervision.
• Mentor less-experienced team members and contractor personnel in field execution and Micron requirements.
