Job summary

Greystone Construction in Frisco, TX seeks a Project Superintendent to lead field operations, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery. This role requires coordinating with contractors, owners and city inspectors to keep projects on track and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years as a superintendent or foreman with a GC, OSHA 10, and strong communication skills. Travel may be required; we offer competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-4 year Associate degree in Construction Management or Construction Trades.
• Willing to travel.
• OSHA 10 and first aid; OSHA 30 preferred.
• 1-3 years as superintendent or foreman with a GC.
• Ability to supervise 10–50 field personnel.
• Sound judgment and problem solving on complex projects.
• Strong relationship-building with customers and subcontractors.
• Good verbal, written and presentation skills.
• High motivation, integrity and commitment to team and customers.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of day-to-day field operations, ensuring safety, quality and schedule objectives.
• Enforce safety policies and conduct toolbox talks weekly.
• Track and control the project schedule; prepare three-week look-ahead schedules.
• Understand project scope and budget; manage subcontractor scopes to stay within budget.
• Coordinate contractors, sub-contractors and labor to meet plans and contract requirements.
• Attend pre-install and owner meetings with management review.
• Document weekly foremen meetings and assign tasks.
• Coordinate inspections with authorities and obtain occupancy approvals.
• Review and approve shop drawings; document project changes affecting schedule, design, scope or cost.
• Assist with project closeout and punch-list resolution.
