Job summary

Hoffman Specialty Contracting, Inc. seeks a Field Superintendent – Interior Systems to lead day-to-day field execution on an interior systems project in Childress, TX.

You will oversee framing, drywall, ceilings, and finishes, guiding foremen and trade partners to meet design intent and project milestones. You will coordinate with project engineers and design teams, drive safety programs, review drawings and submittals, and ensure QA/QC while maintaining progress reports and daily field updates.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of interior systems field supervision experience in commercial construction.
• Experience coordinating work with architectural, structural, and MEP trades in fast-paced environments.
• High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent field experience; OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily planning and coordination meetings with foremen, trade partners, project engineers, and client or design representatives.
• Oversee all field activities for interior systems: metal stud framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, interior finishes.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accurate field installation.
• Drive execution of short-interval and look-ahead schedules and align manpower, materials, and logistics to milestones.
• Manage site logistics including deliveries, material staging, hoisting, laydown, and waste management.
• Lead and enforce safety standards including toolbox talks and pre-task plans.
