Job summary

Duke's Root Control, Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to lead safe, productive field operations across multiple projects and locations. Based in Plymouth, MI, you will translate project plans into daily priorities, develop field leaders, and ensure safety, quality, and customer standards are met.

This role requires regular travel to active project sites, with exposure to construction environments. Occasional evenings, weekends, and OT may be required as projects demand.

• Develop Foremen and Crew Leads, coach performance, and build next-gen field leaders.

• Coordinate resources including labor, equipment, materials, and tools.
• Support customers and reporting; represent Duke’s professionally to inspectors and stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Duke’s is seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to lead safe, productive, and high-quality field operations across multiple projects, crews, and field work locations. In this hands-on leadership role, you will translate project plans into daily priorities, develop field leaders, remove obstacles to production, and help ensure every job meets our safety, quality, customer, and operating standards. This position is based out of our Plymouth, MI regional office.

This is a primarily field-based position requiring regular travel between active project locations. The role includes exposure to construction sites, municipal infrastructure, traffic, operating equipment, confined-space environments, variable weather, temperature extremes, humidity, and noise. Occasional evenings, weekends, overtime, and emergency-response work may be required. The position regularly involves standing, walking, climbing, communicating, inspecting operations, and operating company vehicles, with occasional lifting and carrying of equipment, supplies, or materials.

Requirements

• Champion safety: Maintain a visible field and active presence, conduct safety observations, reinforce Stop-Work Authority, verify crews are trained and equipped, and support incident reviews and corrective actions
• Lead field execution: Turn project plans into clear daily and weekly priorities, coordinate crews and work locations, monitor production, and adjust resources to meet schedule, budget, and customer commitments
• Develop field teams: Direct Foremen and Crew Leads, support recruiting and onboarding, coach performance, address issues, and build the next generation of field leaders
• Drive quality and productivity: Inspect work, confirm procedures and specifications are followed, correct deficiencies, and promote consistent execution of company standards
• Coordinate resources: Plan labor, equipment, materials, vehicles, tools, and field technology needs while partnering with support teams to reduce downtime
• Support customers and reporting: Represent Duke’s professionally with customers, inspectors, municipalities, contractors, and other stakeholders; resolve routine field issues and maintain accurate operational documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary

Compensation:$70,000 - 105,000 base, depending on experience. Bonus eligible.
