Job summary

Green Light Electric is seeking an experienced Electrical Field Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial and industrial projects in the Orlando market, starting with a large airport project. You will direct crews, ensure safety and schedule compliance, and serve as the primary field contact with general contractors and inspectors.

The role requires 5+ years of supervision experience, a valid electrical license ( Journeyman/Master preferred ), and strong NEC knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible supervision of commercial and industrial electrical projects.
• Journeyman or Master electrical license preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the NEC and Florida building requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications.
• OSHA 30 preferred.
• Airport, aviation or other large-scale commercial experience a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable with tablets, email and digital reporting.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise field crews and subcontractors on commercial and industrial electrical projects.
• Plan daily and weekly work to meet the project schedule.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications and submittals; flag conflicts and help prepare RFIs.
• Coordinate with general contractors, other trades and owner representatives.
• Schedule and attend inspections; correct deficiencies promptly.
• Enforce jobsite safety and OSHA requirements.
• Track material needs and coordinate deliveries with the office.
• Submit accurate daily reports, manpower logs and progress photos.
• Support quality control, punch lists and project closeout.
• Mentor foremen and field staff.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Thorsen Group is hiring an experienced Electrical Field Superintendent to run field operations on commercial and industrial electrical projects in the Orlando market, starting with a large-scale airport project.
