Job summary

Echo Power seeks a self-motivated Construction Manager focused on substations, responsible for safety, scheduling, quality control, and field coordination across the U.S. West Coast and nationwide travel.

You will collaborate with engineers, PMs, and site coordinators to deliver turnkey projects. The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to managing onsite activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant construction or substation experience, or 6+ years of field experience.
• NICET/NETA certifications preferred.
• CAPM or PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily jobsite safety and OSHA compliance.
• Produce and maintain project schedules (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
• Lead onsite quality control, safety, housekeeping and material acceptance.
• Maintain daily communication with Project Manager and site teams.
• Develop outage plans and coordinate with utilities and subcontractors.
• Forecast manpower and track site-specific construction costs.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and outage activities.
