• Operate overhead cranes, wire machines, and hand tools safely.
• Inspect welds and equipment for defects and malfunctions.
• Maintain productivity while following strict safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Execute precise MIG welding on structural I-beams, heavy-duty frames, and fuel tanks in flat and overhead orientations.
• Fabricate and join sheet metal ranging from 10 gauge to 1 inch thickness to meet rigorous project specifications.
• Prepare workpieces by clamping, tack-welding, grinding, and bolting components to ensure accurate alignment.
• Utilize overhead hoist cranes, wire machines, and specialized hand tools to position and secure materials safely.
• Conduct thorough inspections of finished welds and equipment to identify potential defects or mechanical malfunctions.
• Maintain a high standard of productivity while adhering to strict safety protocols in dynamic field environments.
