Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Tukwila, WA is seeking a part-time Field Store Associate to drive sales at Lowe’s stores. You will engage customers in Paint and Pro, assist with product selection, and support merchandising and store appearance.

Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, building relationships with wholesale and retail customers, and supporting Lowe’s Pro Sales through tinting and in-store events. Availability includes weekdays, afternoons, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.

The Field Store Associate will be primarily responsible for driving and increasing sales at Lowe’s stores. This position engages customers in the Paint and Pro departments, generates leads, implements sales and marketing programs, provides exceptional customer service, and manages merchandising.

This part‑time position works weekdays/afternoons/weekends and is located at Lowe’s Store #10, 101 Andover Park East, Tukwila, WA 98188. Schedule is based on business needs and may change. Part‑time Field Store Associates are also expected to ensure maximum client satisfaction as well as stay up‑to‑date with product features and maintain the high quality and visual standards of the products.

Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value. Such access may be supervised or unsupervised. • Promote and represent Sherwin‑Williams and Valspar brand standards and product strengths to Lowe’s associates, customers, and contractors
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Assist Sales Representatives in generating sales leads by interacting customers

Training

• Train Lowe's associates on product knowledge and application methods
• Complete eLearning Modules
• Ensure HR Cloud trainings are up to date and within compliance

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
• Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications

• Have at least a High School diploma or GED
• Have at least one (1) year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
• Have previous work experience selling paint and paint‑related products
• Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
• Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's license
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
